I'm glad to see someone else still has some tapes sitting around. Mine are all in the garage and I play them when I'm out there working on stuff.

A succinct synopsis of the Michael Jackson legacy. Bravo! Another staggering analysis from everyone's favorite lab rats.

I must say I'm disappointed, though, that Mickey J's death has consistently gotten first billing over Farah Fawcett's demise. Why? Well, which had the greater impact in YOUR life?

For me, it was Charlie's Angel's, which formed the archetypal ideal of woman in my impressionable young brain; and the ubiquitous Farah red swimsuit poster painted a sexy ANTE-glow over our collective childhood. What's more, she was for a glorious Camelot moment, the princess bride to that other 70's mega-idol, hero archetype Lee Majors, or as we knew him then, Steve Austin!

The walking zombie that 'thrilled' us in the 80's was a phenomenon, no arguments, but her sculpted us -- and the Gen 13 zeitgeist -- much less than the darling feather-headed Barbie with the Million-Dollar Mannequin smile.

Or so this hero-worshipping fanatic would argue.
